How we keep it a surprise

We arrive first and wait at the agreed spot, photographing the view like everyone else. Your partner walks right past us and only finds out when you are on one knee.

A sign only you know

Before the day we agree how you will recognise us and a small sign that you are about to kneel, so the camera is ready the second it happens.

Then a real session

After the yes, the proposal turns into a relaxed couple session: the same hour, the same price, no extra booking.

Write “proposal” in your first message. We reply only to you and never mention it anywhere your partner could see.

We plan it with you

On WhatsApp we choose the spot, the hour with the best light and the fewest people, and an easy reason to bring your partner there. You get a map pin of exactly where to stop.

You ask, we catch it

We are in position before you arrive and photograph the walk in, the question and every second of the reaction.

Then the two of you

Once you have both caught your breath, we carry on as a relaxed couple session for the rest of your time. The gallery arrives in one to two weeks.

Where to propose in Lisbon

Miradouro das Portas do Sol

The classic Alfama view over the rooftops, the white dome of the National Pantheon and the river. At sunrise it is quiet and the light is soft; by nine it is full of people.

The azulejo terrace at Santa Luzia

A few steps away, a pergola with blue-and-white tile benches and bougainvillea. More private, and good for the kiss right after.

Cais das Colunas

Stone steps going straight into the Tagus at Praça do Comércio, with open water and sky. Best early in the morning, before the square fills up.

Praia da Adraga at sunset

Cliffs and open Atlantic water on the Sintra coast, 40 to 50 minutes from the city. For a longer, more dramatic day; transport is included. See beach sessions.

Proposal and session are one price. A €100 deposit holds the date; the rest is paid on the day.

Proposal questions

Very unlikely. We are there before you, dressed like everyone else at the viewpoint and photographing the view, and only come over after the yes.

We agree it together: a morning walk, a coffee nearby, a “quick photo of the view”. We send you the exact place and a map pin before the day.

We move the proposal to another day of your trip for free.

Sunrise, when the viewpoints are almost empty and the light is soft. Sunset works too, with more people around.

We shoot raw vertical phone videos during the session, included as a bonus. An edited reel is an add-on for €50.

At sunrise the viewpoints are almost empty. Later in the day we choose a quieter corner of the same spot, where the background stays clear for the moment you kneel.

Usually Julia, who photographs most of our couple sessions. You will know her face and her number before the day.
