Built around the children
A start time that suits them
With children we usually start at 9:00 or 10:00. The streets are busier than at sunrise, but nobody is tired before we begin.
Games, not poses
We keep the children moving, running and laughing, and give the parents simple directions. The photos come out of the play.
Everyone in the frame
You are in the photos too. Grandparents, aunts and a baby in a carrier are all welcome in the same session.

Planning a family photoshoot in Lisbon
Where we go with children
The Alfama viewpoints for the view, a lane with bougainvillea and a red door for the close portraits, and then the open space of Praça do Comércio and the riverfront, where toddlers can run.

Prams, steps and cobblestones
Alfama is steep and paved with cobblestones. A baby carrier is easier than a pram; if you bring one, we plan a flatter route through Baixa and along the river.
With a baby
One hour is usually enough for a baby: we plan it around the nap and keep a quiet corner nearby for feeding or a nappy change.

One family is one price, whatever its size. For several families or a group of friends in one session, write to us first so we can plan the time.
