Costa da Caparica

Wide soft sand, grassy dunes, the sun setting over the water. About an hour, 25 minutes from the centre.

Praia da Adraga

High cliffs, rocks and big waves on the Sintra coast. A slower 2.5–3 hour session with the drive included.

Costa da Caparica

Costa da Caparica is the long sandy coast across the river from Lisbon. The beach is wide and soft, with grassy dunes behind it, and it faces west, so the sun goes down over the water.

We meet you on the beach. A taxi from the centre takes about 25 minutes and costs around €10 each way.

It suits couples who want to run, sit and lie on the sand, maternity sessions in the dunes, and families with small children.

Praia da Adraga

Adraga is a small beach on the Sintra coast, 40 to 50 minutes from Lisbon, closed in by high cliffs and rocks with open Atlantic water in front.

Transport there and back is included. The session takes 2.5–3 hours with the drive, so there is time to walk the whole beach at an easy pace.

It suits couples who want a dramatic setting, families with older children and portraits against the rocks.

Colours

Plain, soft colours without big logos. Match each other in tone, not in exact outfits.

Fabric

Long dresses and loose shirts move well in the Atlantic wind.

Shoes

Something you can slip off: most beach photos are barefoot.

Evening

Bring a light layer: it gets cool on the coast once the sun is low.

Costa da Caparica for soft sand, dunes and an easy hour. Praia da Adraga for cliffs, rocks and a longer, slower session.

For Costa da Caparica, take a taxi from the centre, about 25 minutes and around €10 each way; we meet on the beach. For Praia da Adraga, transport is included and we agree the pick-up point when you book.
